What it's been a week already?

WOW....go figure, its been a week since I last blogged. WOW....where did the time go??

Some very cool things have happened this week, so I'll post those seperate because well, they deserve it.

Sunday Christmas eve - what a day. Got up and headed to church, and then up to make dinner an early dinner at that for the rents.

I made a seafood pesto pasta, with lobster, scallops and prawns - freaking awesome! We had a very nice relaxing early dinner and then I headed out to go to the candle light service at church. Amazing. Beautiful. Tears flowed.

I headed home and met back up with "V". We spent a very nice relaxing evening opening a few presents and discussed our future or lack there of. We finally drifted off to sleep.

Got up late Christmas morning, and opened gifts from people at the office....and then took "V" to the ferry to go see his mom an step brothers and sisters. I headed up to the "rents". Had a good time up at the "rents" opened presents, had a nice dinner then headed back, picked up "V" and headed home. We had a relaxing evening and watched a movie and fell off to sleep.

We got up on Tuesday and continued our talk about our future. "V" feels very threatened about my "new" life. How I've changed...he doesn't feel he fits into that mold of my life. I told him I am the same person, just healthier, he feels very aware of what he is doing and is wondering what I think when he does what he does...like when he got smokin petes bbq and i had a subway wrap, little simple things like that. I told him it will all work out. He's not so convinced....we'll see. I'm sad and frustrated, I need my best friend and he's so worried about us. It rained all day, and then it was time to get ready. Ready for "V" to go to the airport and for me to get ready for my work out with MM. We headed to the car, and made a quick stop at the Jolly Rodger Bar to get a few beers for my brother. Said goodbye...and then headed to workout with MM.

Had a great workout....Ultimate trainer was there...it was good to see and chat with him. When I got home, I really missed "V". I hope we can get thru his issues, I hope I can stay true to me and not "go" back...I've worked too hard to get here. Anyways....I headed off to sleep...the boys yes my nephews....would be at the "rents" in the morning.

It's Saturday night. I am curled up in my new pjs and robe. Sweet. "V" is here. Its good to be curled up with him. It's like he never left. But he did...he's back for a few days...and then will be gone. Gone for how long?? I wish I knew. Right now, he doesn't even know. He thought he would be coming home for good in April, but now, he's not talking about it. GO figure.

I was busy today. I actually slept in, got up, made breakfast, enjoyed that with "V" and then we headed out. He hooked up with the guys and I headed out to the wifely chores. "what the?" I go the car washed, got gas for the car, headed to pick up stuff for dinner with the "rents" on Sunday and then headed to go for a walk with pops. It was really cold and I was having a hard time breathing....bad air quality. I felt like I needed my inhaler. Crap! Oh well, we did a couple of laps...better than none. I then headed to FM to get the very last gift for my parents. Tee hee...I bought them each a garden knome. What is so cute about them....is that the are a girl and boy with gords for hats....I'll take pics and post later....

I then headed to pick up "V" and we went to have dinner a very low key informal just hang out and talk dinner....then back home....

Yes I know its been over a week since I have posted. Bad Chan, Bad Chan. SO much too tell. Perhaps a short list will do.

We had a major windstorm. Lots of people lost power. I did not. Lucky me.
Did some Christmas shopping. No wrapping yet. Boo hiss.
Went to church on Sunday. Beautiful service.
Went to R&J's for a holiday party and bday party for the kiddlets...fun times.
Monday - Back at work. boo hiss...lol!
Tuesday...work out....rocked it hard core! Yeah me!
Wednesday busy day at work....and our rescheduled holiday party! AND...
MEME is here. Went to the airport to get her...another crazy delated flight...but she is here! YEAH!
Thursday. Blood test day. UGH. Was pretty weak afterwards. But I did it...NOW just to wait for the results next Thursday. Had my work out...gave MM his present...he LOVED IT...YEAH ME! Went to go get "V". YEAH "V"!
Friday. Day off...YEAH me...had a workout with GIP. Brian the Ultimate was there. Good workout...and then MM showed up....yeah me....I felt sooo special....they all were there....Merry Christmas to me!!! Those peeps are so special....it means so much to me that they care! I stopped at the office....and low and behold a surprise....a bouqet of flowers for me....I'll post a pic later. Walked with Pops at the track...rocked it! Did a bit more shopping....not to crazy out there...yeah...and then dinner with "V".
Saturday...slept in....more to come....

Its all about the BACON

Wow...Wednesday - Hump Day! YEAH!...I was excited. I woke up knowing today I would register for some classes at CK in PDX. And today...was Breakfast day at the office...part of our week long celebration! Sweet!

Got in, started doing all that fun "work" stuff...and then it was time. I logged on and registered for classes....and the best part - I got the 3 I really wanted!!!! YEAH!

Then it was time for a little breakfast celebration!!! YEAH!!! There was BACON...really it's all about the BACON. There were lots of yummy quiches and fritattas and lots of other yummy things I'm not to have or even look at...snort...and there was fresh fruit! YEAH!

SO I grabbed a piece of quiche, some fruit and some BACON..duh...and headed back to my desk....I of course didn't eat the crust...yeah me...but everything was yummy!

Anyways....I did a little chat with the famous ms. donna downey...which was way coool...and then I headed home.

Had a pretty funky evening...but I'll get over...thru it...anyways...I've got a workout scheduled with GIP on Thurs as MM is out for the Hawks game...he sux...but not really.

I got lots of goodies today in the mail....MeMe's gift finally arrived and I had Santa's helpers wrap it for me at the office...and Cyn's also came....and my tees arrived...yeah! Too big but oh well, when they are washed, they will shrink. One is for working out in anyways...

YEAH DAY 1 REGISTRATION FOR SCHOOL

I was sooo excited this morning. I was gonna be able to register for my advanced jewelry class today.

On the way to work, I called and talked to a friend whom I haven't talked to in like foreverh...a mad scientist related person....it was good to hear their voice and catch up a bit.

I got into work and realized the "JOKE" that I left on a stocking - the stocking was gone. Okay this is not good. NOTE: When playing reindeer games...becareful. I upset this person. I did not mean to. This is what I did. I took a stocking that had a name of a person who is NO longer here...and took the gold glitter and put an "X" thru it. Then I proceeded to write in the gold glitter the person's name that didn't have a stocking...pretty fun...considering the guy is always laughing joking etc. AND last year he put up a sweatsock with his name on it....I thought he would laugh.

OKAY NOT SO MUCH.

SO I put up the funny stocking on Monday night....it was gone on Tuesday...BUT I really had made him a regular new one on Monday night and was gonna replace it. Anyways....I was forgiven. UGH....come on people have a bit of holiday humor.

Anyways....

THE BEST NEWS:

I actually got thru and was able to register for my advanced jewelry class with LNK...YEAH..The picture above shows what the class is...I will be making the pendant part of the necklace...I am sooo excited...and it is sooo out of the box for me and I'm ready for it!

Anyways...rest of the day...was busy crazy...I was totally beat by the time I got to see MM...we had a good workout even tho I was tired...and then I headed home....

Pretty boring weekend....

So Saturday wasn't too eventful....I seemed to be fighting a cold that everyone at work seems to have. Felt pretty crappy....but took it easy...seem to have passed on the cold...so that's good.

Sunday...

Got up, headed to church....was a beautiful service....we sang some Christmas songs...now who would have thought that there were extended versions of these...lol...

I headed to Sam's club to pick up a few things...and it just dumped when I got out of there...eeks...headed to Office depot to pick up some envelopes for the office for our Christmas cards that I'm gonna print...eeks....and then headed home.

Got home, realized I was a bit cold...so I curled up to take a nap....lol...feel asleep and then had to rush to get up to get to the "rents"...traffic was bad...so I didn't call MeMe...as I needed to give full attention to the road...sorry MeMe....ugh I suck!!! I'll give you a call tonight after "B" drops me off...

Got to the "rents" had a good visit...dinner was good...but the best thing was...pops gave me a cartoon....basically it had two guys playing basketball in the background...and two guys sitting on the bleachers...one guy said to the other "I think my energy drink is disagreeing with my power bar" SNORT. Ha ha too funny.

And for a side note....the flamingo is still dawning its rain slicker....hopefully the santa outfit will make an appearance now that pops has all the lights up.

My happiness for Friday...

Okay I have 2 actually....maybe more....lol

The first....my buddy (you know who you are) is emailing me each day with a happiness. I am soo proud...it's a tough thing to do....but when the cards and chips are down....sometimes a little reminder can make the difference....

Let's see..."B" and I carpooled....and went to Starbucks....I didn't have a latte...I had unsweetened ice tea...yeah me....and I didn't miss the latte!!!

I got paper and stamping goodies from The Angel Company...yeah....fun fun fun....

I had a good day at work....

oh I almost forgot...lol...not really....I walked around the track 4 times....yep 4 times....yeah 4 times tee hee...with pops. I walked 4 times around the track...nenner neenner neener....lol...

I am sooooo happy about it...after, I called momma to tell her.....and I can't wait to email MM...wahooo.....hopefully the rain will stop...cuz we are gonna walk tonight (Sat).

Anyways...time to get the day rocking!

Diva Night...

Finished the day at work and got ready for MM. I drank 1/2 of a protein shake...check...and drove down. Got there, hit the RB...and then...

MM time! We worked hard...we talked about what happened on Tuesday...and everything...perfect. I nailed everything. WAHOO! YEAH ME!!!

At the end - I drank the other half of the shake then headed to the RB...what the?? The NEW girl was hogging it. UGH....the one thing I just love about everyone else...they know that I'm an RB girl...they know that I'm not ready for the other stuff...if they are on the RB...they move. They all ROCK...NEW GIRL...NOT SO MUCH....but I have to give her the benefit one time...man one time...one ticket. SO I tried to do the Elipa-freak machine...ugh....didn't quite get it. MM was proud of me for trying it....we'll work on it on Tuesday...he told me to go home and work on the RB there.

I could totally tell the protein helped...I felt good I felt like I had worked out....but good.

I headed to the office to check on my ebay item for MM for christmas.....I won YEAH....I'll have to post a picture when I get it. Then off to see DIVA!!!

I stopped at Subway and got our normal and then headed over....Both Ugly Betty and Grey's were reruns...but we chatted and caught up...fun times....then it was...

time to head home. I got home...around 11 and hit the RB for a bit....and then off to dream land...

"V" rocks! Yes He DOES!

MY dear sweet BF sent me this wonderful present today. It is a pair of pewter dragonfly napkin holders made by the Tin Woodsman, to go along with my Bordallo Pinheiro Majolica Dragonfly dishes!

When he came home, he brought me a dragonfly large spoon from the Tin Woodsman with a hook for the kitchen wall. Last week, he sent me a coffe canister with a pewter dragonfly lid and dragonfly spoon.

BOY DOES HE ROCK....can't wait to see what's next!

Tuesday....MM day...YEAH!

Got to work...and had a great day. I worked on Yamadasan's bracelet that I have had for way too long and finally fixed it...YEAH ME...and besides beading during work...sweet!

Anyways....back to the good stuff....

I am gonna take a few classes this next year...but the sign ups are NEXT WEEK...what the??? LOL...anyways....one is an ADVANCED wire working class in Feb. with my FAV instructor Lisa Niven Kelly! YEAH!!! and I'm gonna go to Portland for the CK Convention....and take a few okay 4 altered art classes....yeah....SO WISH ME LUCK that I get in and get all the classes I want...as there are only soooo many seats!

So I headed down to good ole FT and hit the RB for a little warm up....and then it was time...MM and I rocked it....what a great workout....I've really stepped it up the last two weeks...and he was almost beeming at my progress....as I was so trying to catch my breathe...lol...anyways....it happened.

I hit the wall after my work out....pretty scary. NO fuel left to operate my depeleted body. The banana only helped my blood sugar...glad I thought of that...cuz that would have been Thwak, passout and that really did leave a mark time...ugh....I just realized that I need to change my emergency contact info on my Medic Alert - ugh...Michael and Brian are still on there....gosh I miss them. I hate that Michael is made at me and that Brian...well Brian is Brian...a badd badd badd man...I miss him so much....I was thinking of him the other day and started to cry. I wonder if he'll show up like he promised on the 21st. He did last year...gosh I hope...BUT I know that I am sooo much stronger this year than the last 2 - especially the last year...sorry sidetracked.d...okay back to the dealio...

SO after emailing GIP and MM, I heard back from GIP (Girl In Pants formally known as Not So Scary Josh) and he suggested a protein drink prior and after working out....so that's what will happen for Thurs...now just to hear back from MM....I am sure he will think the same...but heck, one never knows....anyways....off to Super Supplements for a little protein!

A challenge of sorts....card style

So I joined a quickie swap on my Angel Stamp group...and we are to send one card per week for the next 3 weeks to the person who signed up "below" us. OH great...I got Momma...SO that means I have to come up with 3 new cards that she doesn't have...ARGH!!!...SO...
this is what I came up with...I'm gonna try and use black and white ginham ribbon on each one to prove a point to her...that it goes with everything. Enjoy! More to come!

Things done and heard on a day off...

UGH...Saturday got here too early...got up, got ready and then grabbed the rent checks and headed out to see MM.

Got into the car and headed out....the sun was out and I was in a sassy mood and ready to bring it...lol....headed down and called Momma to see how she was doing...and just a bit of general chit chat...called my pops to see if we were on for tonight and then I got at FT....headed inside and someone was already on the RB...so I decided to walk back and forth til MM was ready for me...

He saw what I was doing and was glad that I was warming up...lol I told him it was the poor man's version of an RB...laughing ensued.

We got down to business and man oh man...did MM work me...but I love it!!! He totally challenges me...and I know that I am getting stronger and better each session. I am really trying to kick it up an notch all the way around. We were talking and I mentioned to MM that Josh told me that Becks got into a wreck...he said Josh told me that too....I replied...so basically Josh is a gossip. MM smiled. Then he told me that Josh watches soap operas...I said No way...MM said yep....I replied....so basically Josh is really a girl in pants....MM lost it...so that's Josh's new nick name...girl in pants....lol...he is soooo gonna kick me when I train with him in a couple of weeks....but man o man girl in pants...FUN - NEY!

After my workout...i hit the RB again....and did another 20 minutes...on an incline....did a half mile again...yeah me!!! And then....time to hit the road.

I called DIVA to see how she was doing....and then off to Michael's and Joanne's...to do a little bit of shopping. Got some cool stuff...and then headed to get something to eat.

I then headed towards home....and decided to get my hair cut....Great Clips....here we go again...the FT hairstyle...good but cheap...then I headed to Walgreen's to get a few things...then up to see pops. He was busy as usual, so I left and then headed home....snuggled in made some dinner....got a call from "V" and chatted for a while...watched a movie....then time for bed...hopefully Sunday will bring more fun and adventure....

Friday. Oh my favorite day. Latte day. Yummo! I woke up feeling pretty good after my intense workout on Thursday night. Got ready and then realized that I was poolin with "B"...eeks...needed about 5 more minutes....I ran downstairs and he was waiting....well he can wait for me once in a while...I think he owes me about 29 more wait times...lol!

It was raining...and I hopped into the car...and we headed down the road....we stopped at Starbucks for the Friday treat....LATTE...yeah....I tasted soooo good. I kept the receipt to put into my book...finally made it to work....and let the games begin!

Had a pretty normal day...a few rush projects...done. Talked to MeMe...yeah MeMe....(hope the party was fun - and YOU could NEVER be one of those girls lol).

I ordered a few things from the Angel Company...a few things for me...and a few things for presents for a couple of gals at work. Tee hee...lol....yeah bring on the paper.

I had signed up for a couple of classes on Big Picture Scrapbooking and they both started today...so I went to the site and downloaded the info...and printed it. I was really impressed with the materials so far...and the price....smokin!

The day finally ended....and off to the car with "B" eeks...it was Friday Night HOT Clips...lol...what a crazy ride home....got home and hit RB for a bit of fun...lol...and then made some dinner and "chatted" on line with some friends from the past. It was good to catch up...and then "V" called.

It was good to talk with him...gosh I miss him...but it is what it is...and time will tell where is relationship will go...all I know is that I have to focus on what's best for me. I can't let myself fall into the trap I did with the mad scientist. Its scary when I realize how I let him effect me...and the results of that...I didnt care anymore and I really didn't want to go on....what a mistake that was....BUT I am better to have gone through it...and I'm stronger now...then I ever was or thought I was then. YEAH ME! LOL....there's nothing wrong with a little self back patting...anyways....back to reality now...lol...anyways....that was about the extent of my exciting Friday night...lol

SO I have a work out scheduled - and it's been since Saturday since MM and I did our thang. UGH...its gonna be a tough one...but I'm in it to win it or own it...lol.

Had a pretty good day at work....got a few things done...and then headed down to see MM.

We had a little chit chat....got a few things well settled...and he wants me to step it up a bit on the RB not only at home but at FT after my workouts... SO challenge excepted.

MY workout was intense...I worked hard and did awesome...and then....time to hit RB before heading home. I so totally rocked it....did a 1/2 mile AFTER my workout and then I headed to Costco to get some SBD Cereal bars. I ended up walking all of Costco before checking out...and then I headed home.....managed to get all my stuff upstairs in one trip...and then settled down for a bit of Grey's Anatomy!

Had an interesting phone call and settled into a deep sleep.

It's nice to be able to share for a good cause. Today, I donated a huge basket full of stamps, a pack of paper and a new catalog for the women's auction at SCC - and I even donated a 3 pc jewelry set! YEAH ME!

I just love the gals at SCC and am so glad I am able to help out. I am really looking forward to my next Scrappin' Friendz in March....and I will be teaching card making!!! YEAH ME!!!

Anyways....made it thru all the snow and ice this week...very glad about it. On Wed night it snowed about 3 - 4 inches in the banana belt...but nicely melted by the AM.

Stayed home....didn't do nearly as much as I would have wanted...oh well...

Played with my new phone and added a few contacts.

Did a couple of things that I needed to.

I post-poned my workout with MM til Saturday...but that was okay...he was stuck in Mill Creek...so it most likely was for the best.

Now they are saying another big storm to hit Wed night/Thurs...we will see what happens.

Not to sure if I'm poolin tomorrow with "B" - guess I'll give him a call in the AM.

Back to work....

Monday.

Its always hard to go back to work on a Monday after a long weekend. There was lots of snow up North...but not in Ballard or on the eastside...yet. SO after waiting til the sun came up...I headed into work.

It was a slow go...but not too much traffic....and got to work safely. YEAH.

"V" called to make sure I was okay...he heard about all the snow...and well he was worried...it was very sweet. *swoon*

Had an okay day at the office....did a few things....but the coolest thing I did was finally go out during lunch and get a new phone.

YEAH ME!

I got a Motorola Razr phone...with all the bells and whistles. YEAH...finally. I uploaded a few ring tones, a call tone and a few music songs...yeah...now just to get a skin or two of course in the purple color...i mean come on ...hello??? lol...

Anyways...the Seahawks are playing tonight so traffic should be horrible. Blech.

Left around 5:30 and started heading home...traffic was bad...

I made it to the 1-90 bridge deck and then....it started to hail...and then blizzard like snow it took 2 hours to get home and when I finally arrived in the lovely banana belt...there was 2 inches of snow that was slushy and melting....

A WONDERFUL 4 day weekend.

A TRIFECTA IF YOU WILL

Saturday...what a day. I got up and got ready for my session with MM - wow...it was a great morning. I was feeling great...and I was being the rockstar that I am *snort* was was wearing my blue shades....ha ha ha....my workout was fabulous...and then I headed over to see DIVA at our special place...in Gilman Village...Sweet Additions...we had an amazing brunch and a fantastic talk. AND then...it was time....to go see Becks.

WOW...I was excited and nervous all rolled into one...it has been since halloween since I have seen her. I couldn't wait to see her...and see her new digs. I made it up to Woodinville to her FT location...and it was beautiful....simply Becky. We had a great talk...and it was sooo good to see her...this is a picture she took of us (she's on the right)....I'm putting it into my A picture a day for 90 days journal...yeah!!! I said goodbye...and then hit the road again.

I headed into Ballard where I was to meet "V" at Chinooks for an early dinner/very late lunch...ha ha...I just love going to Chinooks....and he really misses going there. I got there just as he arrived....and it was good to see him. I know I had seen him earlier that morning...but to just see him...in our old haunts...took my breath away. He ordered way too much food...and I ordered the chop chop veggie salad. He's really surprised how my eating habits have changed...and is very apprehesive of doing the wrong thing around me. I simply told him...don't worry - do what you want and I'll figure it out...really.

He got me the most precious gifts....all with a dragonfly and coffee theme of course - my two favorites. One is a ceramic coffee jar with a pewter lid with a dragonfly and a pewter scoop with a dragonfly...and then a seperate coffee scoop with a dragonfly with a hook to hang on the wall...just love this man.

We had a great dinner...and then he went to go meet the guys for a game of pool and I went to go for my walk with pops....

Later....we met up again at my place...and it was like he had never left to go to NO...but we both knew that things had/have changed....so we shall see what comes next....

You know it's a good day when....

You go to a blog you read on a regular basis...and totally enjoy. Also the blog writer is a movie buff...and has a challenge...and makes a special effort to stump me...I total love it. I feel like if this person and I were ever to meet...we would be fast friends. I went to her blog (I can't link you to it long story) only to find out that she left a message...and I was included in it....here's the message.....

Thank You, Chan, for the challenge and the motivation. And for always being willing to try. Thank You for the constant compliments and pats on the back. For taking time to reach out to a person you’ve never met and try to make her life a little brighter. Thank you for being a woman of purpose I am proud to attempt to stump.

After reading her message, I wanted to cry...it was like getting a huge hug...I need to reply to her and tell her how much her message meant to me....but I haven't been able to express exactly how I feel yet....it will come.

Anyways....that is my happy thought for Friday...that being nice and yourself to people, even those that you don't know, does make a difference.

Thursday was here....

I got up, got ready and headed to church, not knowing what to expect with the Thanksgiving Day service.

I had my bag full of canned goods...and headed in....upon arrival I was handed a paper shaped raindrop and was asked to put my blessing/why I was thankful and to hang onto my goods til the end of service.

I went in, sat down...and then Janice showed up...we started chatting, and a few others sat down...and then service started.

The service was amazing. I loved how people were reading psalms, a prayer and then we would sing....it was incredible...at the end of the service, we all walked up to the front, dropped out gift of food, and placed our blessing on the river, mountain, cloud background....what a feeling.

After the service I spoke to Barb about the scrapbooking group...and we'll get that going in January...and discuss more after the holiday weekend...I'm excited about that.

Then off to the "rents" I went. I stopped at heaven (Starbucks) to get an iced tea....and ended up getting it free...for waiting so long...score...2 times in one week....man o man I should buy a lotto ticket...lol.

Traffic was horrible, but I got up to the "rents" and we just had a relaxing time. We watched "Scrapped" a documentary about scrapbooking...I really enjoyed it...and will be watching it again...lol....the turkey was amazing...and so was the stuffing...it's all about the stuffing....lol...and then afterwards....we relaxed and then it was time to head home....I got home...and watched the normal Thursday night stuff....and drifted off to sleep.

Hump Day...

Wednesday was here. "B" picked me up so we could "pool" and off to heaven we went. It was my turn to buy. AND I was ready for a little iced tea - we placed our order...and then...we got up to the window. Our favorite guy was there....YEAH....and so I played a little Thanksgiving song for him...he laughed...and gave us our drinks free...yeah!! So we headed off to work.....

Traffic wasn't too bad, and then at the office ho ho ho...we go...lol....the account execs had a meeting...and I went to work on reports. Doug had more of his project for me...and we needed to get er done....lol....

There was tons of snack food -- everyone had brought it in to munch on during the day...and I avoided it...and was glad I had brought my own food...just for me...he he...

I called and actually talked to Becks....oh how I miss her. I told her everything MM was having me do...and we had a fantastic conversation. I am gonna go see her on Saturday, after my workout with MM and after meeting DIVA for brunch/lunch...and then to see Becks..YEAH I am sooo excited. I can't wait to see her...it's been almost a month...how I miss her.

The day just flew on by...and then.....well it was time...we were able to leave at 3pm...and so we headed home...and when I got home for whatever reason decided to take a nap. What a nap??? UGH...okay so I had a workout with MM scheduled for what I thought was 7:45...so at 6:30 I got up...and started to scramble....lol...I went to the car and decided to get some gas...and then off to FT....I was talking to Momma...and the phone rang...it was MM...where "are you he says" I tought my workout was at 7:45...ooops...actually 7:30...so I ended up being about 10 minutes late...I got my warmup done...and then we "kicked butt" and "took someones name"....lol....we worked hard and fast with the time we had....man did I get my butt kicked...lol...and then off to home I went.

I stopped at QFC and got some canned goods for church and a container of cottage cheese and ranch dry dressing so I could make my dip to take to the "rents" and a frozen dinner...as I was beat - but needed to eat.

I made it home, made the dip, microwaved dinner...watched a show...and then drifted off to sleep.

A MeMe Sighting...

Ah Tuesday...it was here finally. Went to work, and was all ready to get my work done...and then off to pick up MeMe. I was working on a project for Doug and a few others. The day seemed to drag so slowly.

During lunch, Cindy and I went to work on crafty things. She needed help with a bracelet...and I needed to finish my Thanksgiving Cards...and mail them....eeeks....well okay a day or two late in the mailing...but heck it is the thought, right? Anyways....then the afternoon....just flew by...lol...and then it was time to leave to go get MeMe.

The traffic was horrible....I got to the airport as MeMe was getting her bags...and then a little drive around...and then there she was. WOW....so much has changed for both of us. She looked fabu...and she noticed a difference in me...yeah....off we went to Azteca for dinner.

We had a great dinner and a fantastic talk/time. It really amazes me how without even knowing it before that our relationship has grown. Maybe we have grown. I don't know...maybe it is the time away. I don't know for sure. All I know is that I feel our relationship has grown, has matured. I feel closer to MeMe that I did when she was here working. Maybe we have grown, maybe we are in a difference place in our lives. Maybe we took advantage of the fact that the other was always there...maybe I had - not sure... but I know that I am glad for our friendship.

We then headed up to Marysville, to meet MeMe's mom and our talk continued - it was amazing, that's all I can really say about it. While we were waiting, a van randomly drove into the parking lot and drove over the sidewalk...as they were driving over it...a passenger inside the van proclaimed..."DUDE, You can't do that" to which MeMe and I busted up laughing....
so blog worthy...lol...

Anyways.....MeMe's mom showed up, we said our goodbyes...and off we went...

To sum it up...a fantastic evening...with an amazing friend....excellent!

Time to "pool"

Monday...ugh...I got up and realized that I was carpooling....SO I got ready...and had most everything done and together and "B" called...said he was gonna be late. UGH...okay so I got a project ready to take to work on during lunch. No biggie....

SO I went downstairs to wait and he was 10 minutes past that time...UGH!!! Anyways...we headed out and went to heaven....I got my weekly delite...and then off to work.

BUT the best news of all is.....

MEME will be here tomorrow!!!! I can't wait to see her!!!

What a bargin what a deal....

Sunday….I got up and ready and headed to church – it was a good to go and see everyone. AND the message was good. I need to remember to tell Momma (Char) about the definition of “ELDER”. Anyways….I stopped afterwards at Sam’s Club to pick up a couple of things and scored on a pair of Reebok Crosstrainers - $14.81! WAHOO!!! I then headed home…and just took it easy, making lunch for a bit…and then headed up to the “Rents”. We had a great dinner and good laughs….and then back home…to settle in for the night. I did a bit of pick-up around the place…and made my lunch for the next 3 days….and then watch a bit of tv and put in my whitening trays and went to bed.

It's Time to Kick It Up A Notch!

Saturday….What a great day. I went to work out at a place down the street. I think it will be good for in between my sessions with MM….and I got in on their end of year deal…so we will see….I am excited and nervous and probably won’t mention much about it…just yet – want to just get into the groove without any pressure. It’s all about baby steps. Anyways…the rest of the day was good. Didn’t get as much as I wanted done – but it was still a good day. I met pops for a walk after work…and then I hit Safeway to find the ingredients for life…ha ha okay I just went to by a bag of Splenda to take up to the “Rents” on Sunday….I then headed home…made a good dinner and just chilled.

Friday….YEAH finally!! Did a bunch of stuff at work…as usual. I had to laugh so HARD…DIVA called me and started talking in the 3rd person…. Snort too funny!

AND then it was time…to head home to walk with pops! HA HA HA…fun times. SO I hurried home, got ready and met pops at the track. Okay….wtf?? SO we started walking and man oh man…did pops have a good stride going….so it took everything to keep up…but I did. By lap 2 ½ I was sweating…lol….and he turned to me and said man you’re walking at a good clip….I tried to say…very much so out of breath…I’m just trying to keep up with you…he started to laugh….when we hit the 2/3 point…I was like oh sweet baby jesus..thank you…lol…and then when I hit the stairs…Dad…my heart is still on the track…lol…I’m waiting for it to catch up…lol – SO we had a good laugh…then said goodbye….I headed off to get gas for the car and to QFC for a few things…then home for dinner. I made a good dinner and watched the DaVinci Code.

Thursday finally was here. I had a pretty good day at work. I’ve been feeling really good. Wasn’t sore…and in general. I am happy. YES I had a little “back to the old Chan” moment. I think it would be unrealistic to erase 18 years of bad habits/feelings in 4 months. Just saying.

Anyways….back to were we were. Thursday. It was a pretty fast day at work…yeah…and then time to get ready to see MM. I have been really good about filling out my book and I even put the “slurpee” in there. I’m not hiding it…I’ll take whatever MM dishes out. I got there….handed over my book and hit the treadmill. I even brought DMB to listen to…and MM let me play it….and well everyone else was happy I brought it – so there! HA

Anyways….MM gave me a little shit about the slurpee. I can understand his point…he doesn’t want me to get into the habit of getting em…but come on…I could have done so much worse. So we’ll just let that go…it’s not going to matter next week anyways. Snort I had a fabulous workout and felt much better about the new things…and they were better…I wasn’t even sore after…YEAH!!! I did a bit on the treadmill and left to head to see DIVA.

I stopped at Michaels Craft Store and purchased with the handy 40% coupon…a fiskars green craft drill aka the Donna Downey “Green Penis” drill….SO I’m all really for her class in January. YEAH! I then headed to Subway and got both DIVA and me a turkey bacon wrap…YUMMO! And then it was time….

We were cracking up so much during Grey’s Anatomy…when Izzy and Alex were talking in the 3rd person. WE were cracking up….Then it was time to head home….

Wednesday….hump day. I was thankfully NOT sore after my intense workout with MM. Thank you!!! Had a strange day at work. IT was one of those days were it seemed to last forever, you worked hard and fast…and only 45 minutes went by…WTF??? Anyways…..I decided to go shopping instead of sitting in traffic forever on the way home. I stopped at the sprint store and found out some info…about upgrading my phone and adding pops to my contract. Hummm…could be interesting…or not…lol! SO then I decided to take the plunge and look for some better fitting clothes. UGH…okay so I found a few things….some too small, some too big, some too short, some too long. UGH….for the love of PETE!…anyways….I purchased a bathrobe and nightgown…and felt happy with those…but was a tad bit discouraged. Then I headed to get a inexpensive pair of shoes for work till I found the pair I wanted. AND then I started feeling worse about my shopping experience.

UGH…I hate that. I wanted Ice cream, I wanted chocolate and candybars…UGH….all I had in the car was flippin water. UGH…SO I made a beeline to 7-11 to get a dt pop. And there it was….the slurpee machine. OH thank Heaven….a slurpee machine….and low and behold….a crystal light slurpee…YEAH…SO I took the plunge and got a med size slurpee…it was Rasberry Lemonade – YUMMO….so I paid cash, got in the car…and then enjoyed…I started heading towards home and it hit me…the guilt. I didn’t know how many calories, how many carbs…but I didn’t care. I tried rationalizing it….this is better than…..you fill in the blank with any goodie …lol….as soon as I got home….after fully enjoying my crystal lite slurpee, grabbed my bags and headed upstairs, I dropped everything in the hallway and headed to the computer…..Calorieking.com here I go…..and to my complete surprise and much giddiness….the 12oz slurpee was only 45 calories…and 9 carb grams…YEAH!! Thank you lord!!!

SO I hunkered down, made a turkey patty and watched DAYBREAK…and finally drifted off to sleep.

Tuesday….MM day….YEAH! Had a great day at work. A rocking day….and it just flew on by. I wore the dress that everyone comments on….let’s see I got a HOT…wahooo!!! But it was time to get down to business….man o man…did he work me….I felt pain and joy all at the same time. I made a few giant leaps…and it was pretty awesome. I however, felt it…once I got into the car. I was sooo sore. OMG…help me sweet jesus….so what did I do….I went shopping. LOL…I got a bag I had wanted to get, I have one for my stamp stuff, but wanted one for my jewelry stuff on the go…so I got it. Why not?? I’ll use it. I then stopped at Heaven…okay for you new readers…Starbucks…and got an iced unsweetened ice tea….and then headed home. Barely made it up the stairs…but I did…I cursed Dave’s name from the 3rd flight up. Damnit Dave!!! Made dinner…and totally crashed.

Its a blustery day...pooh bear

A Stormy Monday. “B” called and said he couldn’t ‘pool’ I wasn’t surprised…disappointed yes. Surprised no. Traffic was terrible. A section of town was shut down because of an accident overnight were a police officer was killed. Very tragic. I finally made it to work. Had a fairly good day. I purchased a few things that I had been wanting too….but have been entirely too broke to do so. THANK YOU IRS for my refund check….most of it is going to savings…but I am allowing myself to spend some of it for things that I need and a few things that I want. For instance, renewing my Sam’s Club membership…yep $40 wisely spent…I signed up for a few classes…2 in January with Donna Downey in Portland…YEAH…and one online at Big Picture Scrapbooking. I am really excited about all of them. The coolest thing is, I emailed Donna and she actually replied. Again, she is my hero…lol. I also ordered 2 books I had been wanting to get…and let’s see what else….oh yeah. A stamp pad rack/ribbon holder. I really need this…its all about organization…and I am NOT SO MUCH…lol….well hopefully soon. AND I got an EMAIL from BECKS! MY Wonderful 1st Official Trainer. Gosh I miss her, but getting an email was like GOLD!

A day of rest???

It felt good to get up and get ready for Church. I got to church and it started to rain. What’s new about the rain. The service was good…and then afterwards….was the best. Ronda and Lydia went down to get the kids….the kids walked up the stairs by themselves it was sooo cute.

I then headed to Sam’s Club to get stuff I needed…good stuff…and then I headed home. I made a couple of trips upstairs and then just relaxed for a bit, before heading to the “rents” for dinner. When I got there the flamingo was dressed in a rain slicker…ha ha ha snort how appropriate….we had a great dinner and then back home in the rain.

Its all about the contract...

It’s 6:45AM on a Saturday…Do you know where your dad is?? Yep, I sure do…at the track. SO I got up…and got ready…man o man was it early. I didn’t feel to hip…but I powered thru it…and made it to the track. We did our walk…and it was cold, but dry and windy. When we were done, pops headed to work, and I thought, I’ll go do my errands, why not?? I’m up, but as I started to head downtown, I thought I was gonna hurl. Yes hurl. UGH….so I turned back round and headed home. I made it upstairs, tried to hurl, with NO avail…ugh…and still felt crappy. I grabbed a fresca and hit the couch…figured that might make me feel better.

After napping for a couple of hours, I got up and got ready to head downtown. I felt much better…apparently I burped the ickiness out…great…lol. I got to the floral supply place and picked up a few things….and then off to the apartment supply store. I got what I needed…and actually found a parking spot in front. UGH..Okay I confess, I had to go round 3 times…but they are doing construction and had the parking lot tore up, and I needed to get flourecent bulbs…and really didn’t want to drop those, so I was willing to wait for a good close spot. Got home and got settled again. I made a list of things to get at Sam’s club on Sunday after church. AND then…it was time…

Time for the walk after work with pops. We only did 2 laps as I had been running around all day, several trips up and down the stairs, even to the basement…and so we called it good. I went and got some groceries at QFC and then headed home for dinner and a relaxing evening.

A little bit of Heaven

Friday…seemed to last forever. Finally…the day ended. It had been a week…and the traffic sucked….I headed home….it was supposed to be raining all weekend…or most of it. – What’s new??? LOL…anyways I stopped at a few places and then up the stairs I went….huddled down for the night…and got ready to be up to meet pops at 6:45 for our walk….eeeks. HOW could I almost forget the MOST IMPORTANT THING….I went for sushi for lunch…and wrote it down in my book….and for my weekly treat…I got a latte…a little bit of heaven…yipppeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!

My favorite day of the week....

Ah Thursday….yeah it’s here finally. Had a typical day at work….then I headed off to see Dave aka MM…he totally switched up my routine….what’s that all ‘bout??? LOL…and then….I headed over to Issaquah….to go to Subway…got a wrap for me and a sub for DIVA….then over to the Villa….and we watched our shows. I just love spending good quality time with her. I love how our friendship has blossomed. And then…it was home in the dark, dreary weather….

On Sunday, I was talking to Momma (Char) and we came up with telling each other everyday (at the end of the day) what we were happy for. SO…I tried to tell her on Monday, but we kept getting cut off, so I posted it on her blog on Tuesday morning.

Tuesday….YEAH Finally! Traffic was a nightmare…it was raining still. The basement is still dry and the ceiling too…YEAH. Had a busy day at work. A little frustration, but powered thru it….and then…during my lunch break I headed to Michael’s to get some stretchy cord for bracelets…for Wednesday, I’m teaching Cindy and Marti how to make a little bling…so this will be class one. YEAH. SO I left work…it wasn’t raining..and as soon as I got parked – it started to pour. Of course it did. Where was Noah and his ark. LOL. Just my luck. Got what I needed, saw a couple of cute things I might get when I get a 40% off coupon…then back to work to man the phones. And that is a whole nother story…lol.

And then…it was….

Time to see MM. I headed on down to FT and when I got there the ultimate trainer was there - YEAH!! I chatted with him and told him all about my accomplishments from last Friday with my classes etc...and then it was time. All I have to say is WOW. I had a fantastic work out. He worked my muscles…lol…we did crunches the right way. Man oh man. We altered some of my weight-lifting…and my only reply to him was “What did ever do to you???” LOL…we had fun, and it just flew on by. But I must confess, he needs to change the music. Come on now....that was some BAD 80's rock hair bands...lol...oh well...

Headed home….made a little dinner, watched my two shows…and got my beading stuff ready for Wednesday. BOY was that hard to figure out what to bring. BUT I think I’ve got it all…and man oh man was that bag heavy. I can’t wait to spend time with Cindy and Marti…it will be fun!

Then it was time for the teeth trays….and off to bed….

A NOT SO Manic Monday

Ugh, it’s still raining. Please oh please don’t let the basement flood and the roof leak….

I took a picture of the stairs today. I’ve decided my word of the day will be tasks. And my writing about it is as follows….”There are things that we must do each and everyday. Some good, some NOT SO MUCH. Some days I don’t even notice going up the 4 flights of stairs, others, it takes everything I have to reach the top. But once there, the sense of accomplishment is overwhelming.”

Had a typical case of the Mondays at work today. Traffic wasn’t too bad on the way home as the Seahawks were playing….and they won…yeah! I meet with a gal to show her the apartment, again….hopefully she’ll rent it.

I made a turkey burger again….so yummy….and I’m getting used to the taste, MM would be sooo proud…lol…and let’s see Oh yeah, I watched the Lakehouse. “V” and I went to see it this summer, but I wanted to watch it again, so I Blockbustered it…ha.

Tonight was Day 2 for the teeth whitening trays….I can’t wait til it’s all done.

I'm giddy. I used my teeth whitening trays today. Yeah. LOL....I am soooo happy. I know it will take up to 2 weeks to get the total effect...but it's sooo worth it! YEAH! I am sooo lucky to have WON this from FT for being client of the month. YEAH!!!

SO today it was raining all day long. I did go out and take a picture...yeah me....let's see i've got 40 more days to go...lol....I also went to the store and got a few more things.

I made an awesome dinner...again. I made a turkey burger and made the orzo pasta with tomatoes again. YUMMY. I packed my lunch for the next couple of days...and then hunkered down to watch a bit of tv.

I didn't do as much as I would have liked to this weekend...but hey thats okay. I did the main thing...dishes and grocery shopping...lol...and of course I went walking yesterday with pops.

I am feeling great...my overall average bloodsugar for the last 7 days is 102 - yeah me!!!

Anyways...its stormy, cold and rainy...wishing "V" were here to cuddle with. As much as things have been going good since he has left and time has flown by...I really do miss him. There are sooo many times where just a hug would be wonderful. IF I don't think about it...I'm okay...but every once in a while....it creeps up...and catches me off guard.

Well, time to sign off. Now just to remember to take a picture for Monday...and I need to start writing in my journal my feeling about that picture.

A time to reflect - a challenge if you wish

Saturday...I ended up sleeping in...after my "wake up" by the CC..lol...and then I made breakfast and just kinda chilled. I then went out to go grocery shopping...it was pouring...lol....I didn't want to get out of the car...lol....SO I did...got what I needed and then before heading home...decided to go to the beach.

I headed down to Golden Gardens...and watched the waves crash up onto the beach. The wind was howling and blowing...the leaves where swirling...I really though about the next 3 months with my new contract with working out with Dave and everything in between. I decided to do a challenge a project if you may. A picture a day. Didn't matter what it was of, but a picture a day, and journal about it in my notebook. Then at the end of the month - put it all together...in an actual journal. And continue this thru my 3 month contract. Sweet. It will really help me to not only get in the habit of taking pictures...but journaling and it will re-enforce what I learned from Stacy the day before. Like I fill out my FT accountability journal...this is my personal journal. Sweet!

I headed home...talked to pops and we decided to go walk the track. It's in my contract 2x per week. UGH...it was blustery....but we did it. AND I took a picture at night of the numbers on the track. Which is good. Picture done. I know what I am gonna do for the first 3 days....need to catch up....but I've figured out what the pictures will be..done...I'm excited. I gave pops the pumpkin bread to take home...yeah me!!! AND then I headed home. I made an amazing dinner. I cooked some skinless boneless chicken breast...and brocolli, a small salad, and then I sauteed some grape tomatoes with garlic and basil and tossed it with some orzo pasta...YUMMY.

Sorry I haven't blogged in a little while. I had a HUGE meltdown on Halloween...and it took me a bit to get over it. BUT I'll try and do a little bit of a recap to catch you all up. Since Tuesday, I have had some great moments. Some amazing things happen and all is good.

Tuesday - Halloween. UGH. We've had candy at the office since the 1st of October. I've been really okay with it. I haven't had any, haven't wanted any...and I mean there has been alot of candy in the lobby. MEME knows...ugh.....damn candy! Anyways...back to the meltdown. I'd been doing just fine candy is dead to me...and then, Halloween morning, I was in my pj's and heading to work...we had a pajama posse costume for all the sales assistants...I had to stop at Walgreen's and get some contact solution. I went it, got what I needed and then...as I was at the register...I saw them. The HUGE bin full of movie sized boxes of Charleston Chews Mini's. What? I burst into tears, as I wanted them. What? Are You Kidding Me? UGH. I got my contact solution, went to the car...ugh. Sucks! Had fun at the office party...and then...off to FT to my final workout with Becky. Sadness. I told her about my meltdown. She started to laugh..it was true, it was pretty funny AFTER THE FACT...lol...I gave her the two bracelets I made, she loved them. I said my goodbyes gave her a big hug...and then headed home.

Wednesday - Life was pretty good. I survived my meltdown. I had a good and busy day at work. I headed home, was sorta late...but met pops to go walk the track. I did 3 laps around the track. YEAH! Pops gave me the pumpkin bread that sweet grandma made for me to take to my Portland trip on Saturday...and I went home...and got ready for Thursday and my session with Dave aka MM "Muscle Magician" and please don't confuse MM with MeMe...lol!

Thursday - Let a new day begin...I had a very busy day at work. As I had to get a ton of stuff done before taking Friday off. Powered thru it. I headed to my session with Dave. I brought my "A" game even though I was exhausted from kickin butt at work getting a ton of stuff done and getting a flu shot at the end. I felt a little off after the shot, but I headed to FT - traffic sucked got there and then...let the games begin. LOL. I got my contract. AND we did it...Dave worked me...lol...love that!!! My muscles were screaming...way to go MM! Afterwards, I headed to DIVA's and stopped and got us Subway. We watched Ugly Betty and Grey's Anatomy and then, I headed back to the office, to finish my reports etc. I got home around 1am. EEKS.

Friday - Slept in, and got up, and started to get ready for my day. I was going to Creating Keepsakes Convention...yeah!!! I stopped and got my tall non fat, sugar free hazelnut latte of the week....It was soooo yummy.....an awesome treat - it's all about the contract. LOL....It was raining...pouring....and I have sooo much stuff to do...eeks...power thru it...come on now. SO there was NO parking anywhere near Maydenbauer Center....ugh...it was pouring....So I parked like 5 blocks away...okay maybe 4 but still....a far far ways away. And the killer was the price was the same for parking at the Center..UGH. I got out and headed to go check in. I got to my first class about 20 minutes late...but I got in, and got the kit...and the 10 hints. I didn't put my kit together....as I didn't actually have a seat at a table...but I did have a seat at the back. The class ended and out I went to wait for the Backstage Party with Stacy Jillian. As I was waiting...I meet this very nice gal and we talked and I gave her my card...hopefully she will contact me. The party started...we got tones of stuff. We each got Stacy's book and a huge package filled with lots of goodies and product. Way more than we paid for the class. There was about $50 worth of stuff or more...and the class was $25...YEAH. Anyways....I totally got it now about scrapbooking...I have no fear....it can be done. That has been my challenge with it...I'm so used to doing cards etc...and books for other people....now I get it....lol. The party was over and we headed downstairs...to get Stacy's autograph. I waited in line for about 35 minutes. Yeah me...I never wait in line...ever....I got to talk to Stacy. It was sooo cool, she signed my book...and I did get a picture with her...not a great one...but it proves I waited in line. AND that in itself is a huge step. Then I headed home. We all decided because of the weather NOT to go to Portland. Yeah!! I'm glad actually...just too busy to do that right now...and I showed the apartment a couple of times...then off to bed. I totally crashed. Until. The. Buzzer. Buzzed. UGH. It was 2AM. My neighbor the Cute Canadian... locked himself out on his deck. UGH. SO after getting dressed and heading downstairs to let his buddies in, and then to open his apartment and deck door...he was sooo toasty drunk. LOL...oh well....back to bed...

Day O Saturday Day - o

So got up, at the crack of something...and meet pops to go walk around the track...I got there at a few minutes before 7 - what was I thinking...UGH....we had a good walk, and talk...and I didn't spill the beans about Brother B and the fam visiting...YEAH ME!

Instead of going home, I drove down to the water for a bit and just reflected...and then headed home..took a little nap...lol...and then got some cards made for a card exchange at Heather's. I got ready, headed to the post office and got my hostage mail and then off I went....made it to Heather's without getting lost....ha...and we had a great time....I learned a few new things and had a great time....off home I went.

Got home, made some dinner and just relaxed.

Friday finally was here. "B" and I were supposed to carpool...hummm that seems to be a theme for this week....and he called again at like 7:15 to say....its the night out with the boys....oh well...so I finished getting ready and headed to work.

It was a typical Friday....reports and such and a project again for corner man...ugh....I hate those...lots of pressure...oh well. I did a project for "B" and then at the end of the day....I talked to my Brother "B" and he and the fam are coming for a visit the day after Christmas...YEAH!!! SO I headed home feeling very happy and very confident....

I got home and decided....I could bake. Yeah right. Me and my big ideas. SO I took the jar with the cookies ingredients in it from Monday and poured it out into a bowl....just the smell of it made me want to eat it ALL....SO down the disposal it went. UGH! NOW I'm all freaked out about next weekend in Portland with the potluck and cookie exchange.....I'll figure it out I am sure....so I headed off to bed feeling like a lllllooooooozzer...oh well.

Tears of Joy and Accomplishments

Thursday....what a day. Was yet another busy day...definately a good day. And then time for a little FT workout with Becky.

Dave and I talked about my contract....it's still in the makings...lol...and then we pumped it up...my knee/leg seems to be back to normal...however, when I am sitting for a long period of time, it still is sorta stiff when I get up and start to walk.

I told Becky how much I appreciated her...and how I wouldn't have gotten where I was without her...she started to cry...and I did too.....it has been a amazing journey these last 3 months...and then I headed over to DIVA's.

I picked up Subway for dinner for us...and got there just before Ugly Betty. We laughed, and then we got serious and had an amazing conversation. It just amazes me how incredible DIVA is, and how our friendship has blossomed.

6:45AM are you kidding me?????

The gods must be crazy. For whatever reason, I agreed to go in early with “B”…I was downstairs, bright eyed and bushy tailed…and he was LATE…are you kidding me…..what the???

He finally showed….and we headed off….then off to heaven we went…where I purchased my 1st and only tall nonfat sugar free vanilla latte of the week. New Contract…new rules…but hey no biggie…I can do this…who needs a vente anyways???? HA HA ME!

Anyways…we got to work…and it was the one day sale at the office….so the account executives were pretty busy and left me alone, which was good as I was still working on all that research crap…lol…the day flew by….and then it was time to leave…yeah early!!!

Got home around 4:45 and then headed to the post office to drop my Brother B’s package off, and purchase some stamps so I could send out my Hallo-scream cards…tee hee…and the off to see pops.

Pops had gotten into an accident earlier in the day…he’s okay…his truck…NOT SO MUCH! Oh well. So we agreed to go walk around the track down the street, so I headed home, check my blood sugar, changed and grabbed a snack…back up to Midas and waiting…FINALLY we went for our walk…it was fun…..but cold and it had started to rain…oh well, guess that’s why we live were we live…lol….and then I headed home, did a little bit on the treadmill, made a good dinner and just chilled out for the rest of the night.

Here we go again......

Tuesday…a fantastic day. It rained, it poured, it was windy and very cold. AND I was on a mission. I headed to 3 Starbucks to purchase On The Mountain Vol 12 for my Brother B for Christmas. Had a busy day did a bunch of research for work…ugh…lots of info too much info…lol….left during lunch to go get my teeth molded for my FREE teeth whitening prize from FT for being the client of the month yeah me!! Stopped by and talked to the ultimate trainer and the not so scary one…lol…made a few appointments in December to learn some at home stuff, so I can kick it up a notch after the 1st of the year. Headed back to work, did more research, then time for the workout…we talked about my “contract” and such and I had a great workout and boxed like a fool on crack…lol then it was time to head home….

MONDAY - YEAH!!!

Okay so I was to “pool” with “B”. At 7:15 he called….said he needed to drive in solo because of the Smooth Jazz CD Release Party. Okay, I’ll give him that….lol…SO I totally had to scramble. I needed to get my stuff for that night, as I was gonna head to Girls Nite Out at SCC later that evening. Okay…so I headed out, got gas, and made it into work. Then the fun, eh I mean Chaos started.

Okay…so I started with a normal amount of work…then well it go interesting. I started making badges for the VIP clients for the party…got them all printed, cut and laminated…just needed to punch and attach lanyards. Okay…whew…no table tents…uh yeah right. SO at 1:30pm they decided that we needed them again…okay can you say scramble??? UGH…at least I had it all mocked up, and figured out…and had the right type of paper to print on. SO I started printing…OKAY HOUSTON WE HAVE A SERIOUS PROBLEM….the ink was all freaky deaky….so I made an adjustment on the printer and got it all figured out.

SO I got them printed, cut and then the scoring of the tent. I was using a ruler and a large paperclip. Are you kidding me???? I thought wait a second…don’t I have a Making Memories Tool Kit/Tool Kit Addition in my trunk??? SO I raced down to the car…and YEP it was there. Why did I have this in my car??? Well I got it on Ebay from Heather and had decided to just leave it in the car. Cuz really, you never know when you are gonna break down and need to papercraft. SNORT. SO back upstairs I went. AND man oh man did that ever do the trick. See I had 150 of these bad boys to do and score on each end…yep 300 scores…so the assembly line was rocking…then it was attaching tape…then folding and taking the cover off tape, attaching a penny and putting it together. WAHOO. Deb helped with the penny part…and we got them all done by 4:30, just in time for Jean to take off. WHEW….what a whirlwind day!
I headed up to SCC stopping at subway getting my 6” sub on…lol…and got there in plenty of time. WOW…what a great Girls Nite Out. There was plenty of talking, laughing, sharing, a great guest speaker, a fantastic reality based lesson, a useful project…we made cookies in a jar…and then the evening came to an end. I felt sooo good being there. Every one was so nice and friendly, I almost felt guilty about having such a good time at SCC (which is a different church from where I normally go). And then, I headed home….and got ready for a rocking Tuesday!

Sunday. Yeah…it was finally here. I woke up, and went for a walk by myself at Golden Gardens. WOW it was freakin cold. But beautiful!

I got home and got ready to meet Diva #1 and California Joni downstairs. We had called a cab to take us downtown to the Argosy Brunch Cruise. WOW…it was finally here. I have been waiting for such a long time.

We got there. Got the tickets…they were comp’d sweet. Got in line…got onto the ship, got some bubbly and were seated. WOW. It was amazing. The ship filled up, the music by Michael Powers started, and then the food. We had such a good time. Headed home and then up to the “rents’. Had a great visit. Good dinner. Then headed home. Part Two - The Update

Part Two…see I didn’t leave you hanging….ha ha snort

Saturday. What a great beautiful fall Seattle day. Humm what was I thinking. I actually agreed to go for a walk with my pops after he got off of work. At Golden Gardens. Insert creepy horror film movie music here. HA. I went into a panic attack. Why? Why would I go into a full blown panic attack? Are you kidding me??? But yes I did. I called Momma…she talked me through it. I drove to Midas to meet Pops. I got there….couldn’t breathe….eeks…here we go again. I talked myself thru it. And we went and had a great walk. I walked about ¾ a mile. YEAH….we had a blast.

I went grocery shopping afterwards and went home and made a great dinner. Watch some tv and had a relaxing evening. I couldn’t wait for Sunday.

Part One - The Update

Awe yes the update….Part One

Had a fantastic workout on Thursday. My knee/leg was still giving me troubles…eeeks…still wasn’t feeling good. Started to get into a funk. Ick. Yes a funk. Not a funky cold medina…drat.

Friday the 13th was not too eventful – thank goodness…lol….and as the weekend started I started feeling not so good. I took it easy. I slept. I stretched my leg. I ate good. I slept some more. I made my Halloween cards. YEAH. I slept some more. By Sunday…My cold was in full force. I didn’t go to church…boo….I didn’t go to the “rents’ boo hiss…..I was in a major funk. BOOOOO.

I stayed home from work on Monday. My knee/leg was starting to feel better. I was still in my funk. I needed to get out of it in a hurry.

I did something I have not done in about 1 ½ years since Mad Scientist – I went to Golden Gardens. I sat in my car…looking out at the water. Realizing how much I missed going there, how long it had been since I last walked there. How far I have come since then. It felt right to be there. I started to feel not so much in a funk. I went home. Made it up the stairs…ugh….and settled back in.

On Tuesday…I probably could have gone to work, but decided to stay home again. I felt better, my knee/leg felt better. I was getting out of the funk. I started to do so cleaning etc. and I went to my work out. I had a good work out, we started to do a few things we had stopped when I injured my knee/leg. Awesome. On the way home, I stopped again at Golden Gardens...it was dark, but the effect was still the same. I am ready. I can do this. I am unstopable.

FUNK GONE!

Wednesday, I went into work, my boss was still on vacation, sweet! I felt great. No longer in a funk – YEAH ME!!! I was on fire…that’s right F I R E! Had a great day…and then it was time for Thursday. WOW….great day….fantastic work out – I went down another notch on the pushup bar….wahooo….and my knee/leg is getting better…YEAH! Friday….wow…great day….felt good…was looking forward to the weekend….got lots brewing….that'll be in Part Two - The Update. he heee

WHo freakin' jack hammers at 7am???

UGH...so I woke up - not feeling any better...my right leg is mega sore and stiff....ugh....I'm not gonna put anything on it - want to make sure I don't injure it anymore. And guess what...I heard this freakin' loud noise at 7am - it was jack hammering at the new condo building kitty corner okay at the other end of the block...UGH...not again! I swear if this continues on Saturday and Sunday I am gonna loose it!!!!

SO I went to work...and it's been okay. I don't feel very good...I'm getting a sinus cold and I am really worried about my right leg/knee. I am gonna plead for easy upper body work out tonight as I am hoping I just need to rest it for a few days.

UGH....well here's to it being Thursday, a work out day, a Grey's anatomy day! YEAH!

Wednesday - the infamous "hump" day

What??? LOL....sure it was a Wednesday. Boy was I feeling my work out....wow.

Had a good day....got lots done. Got a few "treats" from a couple of ae's...yeah me!!

Headed home....it was a beautiful day...had a relaxing evening made my lunch for Thurs and Fri so I wouldn't have to do it when I got home after my session on Thursday...ugh...hopefully that will work from now on.

Woke up with a freakin' charlie horse....in my right leg behind my knee....and with a start of a sinus cold. UGH.....

Headed back to bed hoping for a better "wake up" in a few hours before heading to work...

Tuesday....it's time to Pump You Up...lol

Ah tuesday. A terrible tuesday...okay NOT so much....Actually, even tho it was a frantic busy can I just do one more thing type of day. IT was great. I assembled a ton of gift bags for a big client meeting (MEME- LSTC). AND then I put together about 65 packages for our cd sampler to go into the local Tully's locations. Whew...I felt like an elf getting Santa ready for christmas...HA!

So the next thing I knew it was time to head down to FT for my session with Becky...BUT I wasn't sure if she was gonna be there or not....as it was her b-day. SO I get there and low and behold she got the day off....so it was ALL ABOUT DAVE! SWEET!

Had a fantastic work-out...he pushed me ever so slightly...lol and he became the "Muscle Magician" thats a new superhero just in case you were wondering. HA HA *snort* Anyways...we had a fun hard working laughing fun filled session. AND boy did I feel the burn...yeah!

SO I headed home....got stuck in traffic....on i-90 like at 7pm...what??? Finally made it home after 8pm... barely made it up the freakin' yes I said freakin' 4 flights of stairs...then I did the old pop the lean cuisine in the micro and settled in to watch a little tv before falling asleep.....

So Saturday I just hung out with my new "do" and made cards...see post below..lol....and had a relaxing rest of the day.

Sunday got up - got ready and headed to church...wow 3 weeks in a row....nice.

Had a blood sugar incident....got really low after church...so had to go and get some juice...note to self eat right before going into church just in case Pastor Harry is long winded....lol....headed home and kicked back then up the the "rents".

Had a great dinner...and some good laughs.....

Ah Thursday.....

Another good day....and a fantastic session....afterwards I headed to DIVA #1's to watch Ugly Betty and Grey's. We had a blast....we laughed a ton! The only bad thing was I was at the Villa in Issaquah and didn't get home til after 11pm....eeks.....it was a rough Friday morning wake up.

I did manage to pack my lunch...but my hair was still wet when "B" picked me up...oh well....lol

It was one of those crazy days at work....everyone was a little spunky...lol and the day just flew by...yeah....and then "B" dropped the bomb on me...lol....he called like at 4:10 and said we're leaving in 10 minutes.....eeeks....I had tons to do...but I got what I needed done....and out the door I went.

Had a crazy ride home - but made it home safely...barely...lol...and then I just relaxed and made a few cards...

What was I thinking???

UGH....5:30am came way too early this morning. BUT I powered thru it. I didn't do the RB this morning....ugh so punishment tonight...an extra 5 minutes.....eeeks.

I did manage to get up, get ready and even make my lunch (which I forgot to do last night as becky kicked my butt lol) and be downstairs before "B" showed up at 6:45am to go to work.

Thank goodness we stopped at heaven...I mean Starbucks and got a little "pick me up" I almost went for a hot drink....but not yet...give it a week or two....lol.

Had a great trip into work.....then we got to work....

UGH what was I thinking. I got to my desk and started in...BUT unfortunately, Alan hadn't done my avail reports...ugh...oh well.....I'll do em later...when he gets in around 10...

WAHOOOOOO I ROCK!

Some of you know that I have been really struggling with my diabetes since the end of June. SO now I've made it thru 2 - 6 week check ups....yep 3 months...and with 7 weeks of a trainer and good eating habits under my belt...and Tuesday was THE DAY.

I got up, rather nervous and got ready to head to my doctor's appointment. When I got there...I started to settle down. Emily came and got me and we went to do the normal stuff before the doc came in. SO far everything was improving. check.

The Doc came in and we went over ALL of my results. Improvement. Yeah. Improvement. Yeah. Improvement. Yeah. Improvement, still needs work...yeah. Overall....I rocked the house. I left with new scripts and an appoinment in 3 months...YEAH ME!!! I headed to the car to call Momma.....and then the call waiting clicked...

WAHOOOO....Brian....the ultimate trainer called to see how things were going...I couldn't believe that he remembered about the tests....YEAH...We had a great conversation and then he told me that I was "Client of the Month" YEAH ME....and I won some fabulous prizes. WOW!

I headed back to work on an HUGE emotional high.....and worked like no other...lol.

I then headed to my session with Becky...I warmed up....and had a fantastic session...I even got to box and I beat up on Becky...tee hee.....and then....I totally freaked her out...and made her laugh SOOOO hard. While I was marching in place...I started to do the Macaraenia... It was soooo funny!!! HA! The rest of the session went awesome but man oh man...I was beat at the end....Dave and I headed over to the Teriyaki place and I ordered my first FT oriental salad...not to shabby.

I headed home and just relaxed and fell asleep around 10pm as "B" and I are starting our early wed morning carpool...eeeks.

Scrappin' Friendzy Recap

WOW. What an event. 70 gals attended. I got there around 8:30am and started to set up my table. It was a narrow table, and not too awfully long. BUT I'd make due. I didn't set up my display board as there wasn't room, and glad I didn't either. Note for next time...make the baggie books...and put in a basket...that would fit.

I got everything set up and tada! People started to stop by. YEAH! Then it was time for my 2 classes. WOW...everyone was in lets' get this project done. Only a few needed help. I gave away lots of prizes!!! Everyone really enjoyed the project..YEAH ME! Whew.....that was fast and furious...I've never taught two classes back to back in 1 hour....eeeks...I am so glad that I really prepared the kits as much as I did...it made it sooo much easier!

The rest of the day just flew by...I talked to some people that I hadn't seen for a while, met some new people...got a few sales...YEAH!!! and overall had a fantastic time!!!

At the end of the day, I went downstairs where everyone was scrappin' to have dinner and be there when the prizes were awarded....that was sooo cool. Everyone loved all the prizes I had donated...yeah me again!

One new stamper won my enter to win that I had at my table, and she was sooo excited.

AND the bestest news...I was already asked to come back for the next one in March. AND they want me to teach cards!!! YEAH!!! HOW cool is that????

I headed home on a huge emotional high...and after HERC'ing all my stuff up 4 freakin' flights of stairs...I crashed!

UGH...more Ketchup time...lol!

Okay so now that I'm ONLY 2 full weeks behind....let's do another cliff note version update.

I was lucky enough to take Mon the 18th off to spend with my honey aka "V" - we slept in, relaxed went grocery shopping all the "normal" errand stuff couples do. I made an awesome dinner and then headed to my fellowship meeting and "V" went to say goodbye to the peeps at the hospital...when we both got home, we headed to bed.

Tuesday....we got up and he got ready to leave to NO...we headed to the airport...said our goodbye's and I promised NOT to cry. Okay I did when I got back into the car. SO he is planning on coming back to visit for Turkey Day and Christmas - YEAH!

I had two awesome workout sessions with Becky on Tues and Wed. IT was good to be back at work...lol...okay gotcha there!...and then Thursday came...

My sweet Grandma and my Aussie Uncle showed up. I was soo nervous...why not sure..but I was - I headed to work, all dressed up, new dress, heals, hair done, make up on. Check! After 12 I headed up to the "rents" to see everyone. WE had a fabulous time! IT was a perfect day, and dinner was fabu! pops bbq salmon...yummo! It was time to head out - so we took the pictures lol and I headed home.

Friday was a crazy day..."B" and I pooled...we had fun...work was great...on the way home the main street in Ballard was "CLOSED" and there were police cars, and flashing lights everywhere...eeeks....then we saw 3 different tv station helicopters hover over downtown ballard. YIKES...it took us forever to get like 4 blocks....but he insisted on driving me home - I got home and was gonna have a bite to eat and then head to DIVA #1's for a visit. BUT...she called and wasn't feeling too well...so it was a very quiet nite...the first in a long time...

Saturday, I slept in, did errands and headed over to DIVA #1's to bring her a few groceries as she was feeling better. At the store I went to there was a kid with a freaky BIG ASS SNAKE...eeeks I totally froze...til he moved out of my site....what a dork....UGH HATE SNAKES! DIVA #1 and I had a great visit and it was soooo goood to see her and the princess diva kitty!

Sunday...I headed to church...it was a great service and good to see everyone...came home and started getting ready for my classes on Sat the 30th. I headed up to the "rents" for dinner and we had a fun time.

Monday...back at work....lol...it was a start to the week. I had two awesome workout sessions with Becky....and basically all week, just got stuff ready for my classes on Saturday. NOW it's Friday...and I am almost ready for my class tomorrow morning! I'll fill you all in on how it went...as Sunday will be mostly relaxing.

POWER THRU IT - BRING IT!

Sunday was an amazing morning. I got up, felt great, headed downstairs again to hit the RB…resisted, yet AGAIN, the “Make Your Own Waffle” station and did my work out. IT was great! WAHOO – 3 days in a row, while on vacation! YEAH ME!

I headed back upstairs, and started packing and getting ready. I headed downstairs for a cart to bring all my stuff down…no cart…so I said “screw it” and loaded myself up, and then…waited at the elevator for what seemed like 4-ever…ha….finally…it came.

I “HERC’d” everything to the car…and loaded it in….then I went to check out. Paid the bill and then we all headed over to All American….lol…okay it wasn’t called that….but something similar – I had been calling the restaurant that all weekend…and it made Momma laugh so hard….

WE okay Momma and I played the salt and pepper tip game….and everyone started to order. I was good, ordered eggs & bacon, got fruit instead of hash browns and only ate ½ of slice of toast….and lots of coffee. YEAH. I was really proud for the choice I made, as it would pay off later down the road.

After breakfast…I got in the car and headed down the road to get gas…uh hello…I forgot that in Oregon…THEY PUMP YOUR GAS….the attendant was sorta cross with me when I got out of the car and proceeded to do his job…LOL…oh well!

Then off to get “V” from J’s – it was great we chatted, he slept a bit….and on the roadtrip home – I felt great – NO sleepiness….yeah…what was funny was that Momma kept calling to talk about next years WAG…lol!
Got home safe….time to “HERC” everything upstairs…..

My weekend continued...

YEAH….it was Saturday…

Got up early again, and hit the treadmill. Made it past the “Make Your Own Waffle Station” again…lol…and then upstairs to get ready for day two of WAG.

WHAT A FUN DAY….more projects, lots of good time together and then…

We took a break for lunch. I needed to get out of the hotel and do a little relaxing for ME…so what did I do??? I went and got my nails manicured! And painted PURPLE with sparkles…and with a painted flower and dfly on two nails…YEAH…how fun!

Back to WAG and projects….and more fun and prizes galore!!!

And then it was dinner time. We ordered pizza and I had a slice taking some of the crust off, and a salad…it was sooo yummy!!! And then back to finish up all the projects.

WHEN all of a sudden…Momma’s husband showed up…with her son Jim…for a little surprise…for her b-day! YEAH! She was shocked…and it was perfect!!! Okay I knew about it…but man oh man was I glad that it finally happened…it was hard keeping a secret!

Then there was the award ceremony…and I got a shooting star pin with a charm for selling $1,000 worth of product last year…YEAH ME!

Then it was over. We stayed to clean up…and then we headed to Momma’s room for a meeting to discuss all that had happened, what we could do to make it better etc…
And then…dream land….

Friday I woke up and felt great…I got up, started to get ready…headed downstairs for a little “RB” time….and yes I did have to walk by the “Make Your Own Waffle” machine in the hotel lobby.

I did my time on RB and then grabbed a hard boiled egg, and some coffee and headed up to my room. I decided to go to Freddy’s to get some stuff for my fridge – so off I went…and came back with a pile load…then it was time to get ready for the day.

Everyone headed up to my room to help me put my display board together…thank goodness!!! AND then it began….

We headed downstairs and started setting up for our event….what fun…it came together so well….and then the doors opened…

Everyone rushed in…there were the welcomes, the Survivor game…the trades and then we started….it was time for dinner….we went to this really cute 50’s diner…and had fantastic food. I was good…and had a grilled chicken salad.

At the restaurant we had fun. Momma, Anissa and Heather ordered lots of good greasy food…and old fashioned milk shakes….ha ha ha…with whip cream on top.

I had worn my flashing billboard sign and had programmed it to say “I’m not cheap, I’m on special” and boy did I get some looks….I proceeded to go up to the counter and asked for the can of whip cream…and promptly came back and re-filled their milkshakes with whip cream. WE had a good time…lots of laughs….and then back to start the shoebox projects.

We had lots of fun…and ended up getting back to our room around 11:30ish…eeks

Off to dream land I went…

First things First...

Okay, lets go back a whole week, I'll try and give you all the awesome cliff notes and not bore you all. LOL....fat chance!

Tuesday and Wednesday....both awesome days....busy with work stuff and stuff for WAG....had two awesome workouts with DAVE....and then...it was Thursday....

Thursday...I had to get stuff ready...do things around the apartment....and pack...I got everything ready and finally had the last few things to do before officially hitting the road.

I stopped at the fabric store for some ginham ribbon for Momma's gift, to the bank for a little deposit and some cash money, the post office and then to stop and say bye to Pops...then I hit the road, stopped to get "V" and we stopped and filled the tank.

What a great fantastic roadtrip. We had excellent weather...and then...it was time to drop "V" off at "J"'s and then well...off to Salem....I got stuck in some knarly traffic between Portland and Woodburn...and finally...I hit Salem! YEAH ME!

Momma was waiting for me....I got checked in, parked the car and took everything upstairs. My room was huge and fantastic...glad I got my own room. We (Momma and I) put all the stuff into the notebooks...and then off she went to go watch Survivor. I wasn't feeling too well....so I stayed in my room and watched it....I think all the stress and long hours finally caught up with m...so I went to bed....

Manic Monday

UGH.

All I have to say is UGH. My day started off fantastic..."B" picked me up for work...and we headed to "Heaven" got a little iced tea (unsweeted) and then headed to work. It was great to catch up!

Things at the office were going okay...I felt pretty good, altho a bit tired from all the work over the weekend....

and then it happened.....

I was called into a meeting....about the golf tourney. I was told and promised that I wouldn't have to do a "thing" for this tourney....I should never have believed it. Now I've got stuff "dumped" on me to do...before I go on freakin' vacation. UGH! OH well, it is what it is....

Had a great ride home...and then I started getting things I would need for the weekend. Found everything I needed. I made a great dinner....and then I started preparing my shoebox project I needed to make 33 of them....31 for the attendees....one for the sample board and one for the top of the box. I got everything cut, scored, corner rounded and put into the clear envy bag. I just need to go get ribbon today and cut the ribbon and seal each bag! YEAH!!!

Its all starting to come together!

Another busy weekend...

WOW. Will it ever slow down???

The weekend came and went….it was very busy, but a good busy. Got lots of “things” done that needed to be done.

Saturday I got up, took care of the lease agreement for the new tenant, met with her, signed all the papers, went to the bank, then to the supply store, then I went to start working on stuff for the upcoming Angel Gathering. Spend the rest of the day/evening on that.

Sunday, was much the same, got up, got a few things done, then out the door to continue working on stuff for WAG (Western Angel Gathering) or as “B” calls it the Angel Network…worked hard all day….til the wee hours…but got so much done! Yeah me!

Still have a lot to do…but it almost seems manageable now.

SO I heard from the other 2....and everyone is sooo ready to help in anyway! GOTTA LOVE THAT!!!

Wahoo.....I am feeling really good....had a tough work out last night...Becky made me pay...lol...I told her I liked Dave better...so there was some "jabbing" back and forth...

The apartment is finally yeah finally coming together.....the new tenant is gonna move in tomorrow...whew....this was a close one....ugh!!!

Got homework to do this weekend....of course it's on the RB..lol...and I've got some good tunes to work out to....so it should be just fine and dandy...BRING IT ON.....

And - well let's see...what else....oh yeah gonna do the lease for the new tenant and then I'm gonna work on my stuff for WAG...ugh I've got a ton to do...but I talked to mom the other day and told her I probably wasn't gonna head up this weekend....so that should buy me a few hours....

Ah...another Wednesday

Wednesday....I was a hurting unit. I felt everything I did over the weekend and stuff from Tuesday - my work out and then the shopping, then the cleaning at DIVA #1's and then the "herc'ing" crap upstairs to my place. I took it easy. I stayed at my desk most of the day....got stuff done....

Lots of crap at the building is happening...I'm trying to get this one apt ready for a new tenant to move in this weekend......EVERYTHING that could go wrong has and it's only Wednesday...I think it will all work out....*FINGERS CROSSED*

I did something WAY OUT of my comfort zone....I emailed a few people that I admire and respect oh heck and love too in my own way...for help and encouragment....the ONE PERSON...I KNEW WOULD BE THERE....replied right away...the other...I am sure they will reply in due time....this journey is going to be a long hard one....but the end result is gonna be fabulous!!! I am excited and nervous all rolled into one.

I even am very comfortable talking to my big bro about what I am doing for me these days...but I have made him swear NOT to tell the "rents" I don't know why I am afraid of them knowing...mostly I think it is because I am "paying" a trainer to help me....but heck...if it works...who cares??? I will tell them at Thanksgiving and show them my book....maybe it will be easier then. *hopes*

Anyways....I headed home and took it pretty easy...I made scrambled eggs a fruit salad and had an english muffin for dinner....yummy it was sooo good. Watched Rockstar - I just love that show...and LUKAS and TOBY ROCK!!!!!!!!! I think my dad wants to go to Supernova's concert in February...maybe I'll use my hook up and get some tickets...maybe...lol....

I watched Vanished that I dvr'd the other night...and low and behold....my ex co-worker Matt Reidy was in the show!!! I started screaming.....I was soo happy to see him on tv again! I had been thinking that I needed to email him....I know he would be so proud of me...especially with the weight lifting...tee hee.....and the fact that I got a trainer...he and I had talked about it before he left...a year ago....but as a dear friend once told me....in order to make changes...you have to be ready to...and I guess I am now!
